I do not believe it would have taken a clairvoyant to have predicted that something would explode on Independence Day. It seems to be a somewhat common occurence in Flamingo Heights, after all.

It is probably also for the best. Large chain stores such as that one often drive smaller, home-owned stores out of business. It is sad that people will temporarily have no employment while the Walmart is being rebuilt, but perhaps it will be better for small business owners.
